International Symposium on Climate Adaptation and Low-Carbon Cities 2025 (Second Circular)
Following the release of the First Circular, the “International Symposium on Climate Adaptation and Low-Carbon Cities 2025” has received broad attention and enthusiastic responses from the academic community and industry. The Organizing Committee is now pleased to issue the Second Circular with updated information as follows:

This symposium will focus on the practical demands and theoretical frontiers of global climate change response, systematically exploring innovative pathways and international experiences in climate adaptation and sustainable governance. Key topics include, but are not limited to:
1. Building energy efficiency and climate-adaptive design technologies
2. Climate risk assessment and resilient urban development
3. Blue-green infrastructure and sustainable built environments
4. Ecological security and green space health
5. Low-carbon urban renewal and multi-stakeholder collaborative governance

V. Call for Papers
The symposium welcomes submissions related to the above topics. Authors are invited to submit abstracts (in both Chinese and English, using the attached template) by September 20, 2025 to the Organizing Committee via Calu2025@chd.edu.cn. Please name the file as: Topic Number + Paper Title + Author Name. Notification of abstract acceptance will be provided by September 30, 2025. Accepted submissions will be recommended for oral or poster presentations in thematic sessions.
Note: Participants who have already registered after the First Circular do not need to register again.
Special Issue Opportunities
1. To facilitate publication, the Organizing Committee will jointly launch a Special Topic entitled “Advancements in Low-Carbon, Climate-Resilient, and Sustainable Built Environments” with several MDPI journals, including:

2. In addition, Journal of Building Energy Efficiency (Chinese & English) will open a dedicated conference special column. Selected unpublished high-quality papers, with the author’s consent and after peer review, may be recommended for formal publication in this special issue.
