Workshop HA-SecEdge 2026 - Hardware-Accelerated Cybersecurity and Edge AI for 6G and IoT Networks
Workshop at IEEE CAMAD 2026 7–9 September 2026 | Nicosia, Cyprus Conference website: https://camad2026.ieee-camad.org Scope and Motivation HA-SecEdge 2026 focuses on secure AI-native 6G, IoT, and edge infrastructures, where growing complexity demands more than software-only defenses. The workshop highlights hardware acceleration and hardware-software co-design, including FPGA, SoC, and SmartNIC approaches, for low-latency, energy-efficient cybersecurity. It brings together researchers and practitioners working on modeling, secure edge AI, hardware-assisted protection, and experimental validation. Topics of Interest • Hardware-accelerated network security mechanisms • Secure edge AI architectures for 6G and IoT systems • Reconfigurable hardware for secure communications • FPGA, SoC, SmartNIC, and hardware-software co-design for cybersecurity • Cyber-physical and industrial IoT security • Modeling and performance analysis of secure hardware-assisted systems • AI-driven intrusion detection and anomaly detection at the edge • Trusted execution and confidential computing for edge infrastructures • Low-latency packet inspection and hardware-assisted traffic filtering • Secure acceleration of SDN and NFV functions • Dependability, resilience, and runtime assurance in secure edge platforms • Energy-efficient secure architectures for distributed edge environments • Post-quantum and cryptographic acceleration for communication networks • Testbeds, prototypes, and real-world deployments of secure edge systems Submission Guidelines Authors are invited to submit original research papers that have not been previously published and are not currently under review elsewhere. Papers must follow the IEEE CAMAD 2026 formatting guidelines and should be submitted through the EDAS submission system by selecting the HA-SecEdge 2026 workshop track. Submission System: https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=34658&track=137104 Important Dates • Paper Submission Deadline: 24 April 2026 • Notification of Acceptance: 5 June 2026 • Camera-Ready Submission: 10 July 2026 • Conference Dates: 7–9 September 2026 |
