The 30th Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education (CISSE 2026) invites submissions for its annual cybersecurity conference focused on cybersecurity education, information security, and artificial intelligence in security.
CISSE is the longest-running conference dedicated to cybersecurity education, bringing together researchers, faculty, practitioners, and academic leaders in information security, cyber defense, and computing education. The 2026 theme, “Investigate, Imagine, Integrate, Impact,” emphasizes cybersecurity, AI in cybersecurity, secure systems, and the future of information security education and workforce development. Authors are invited to submit original research papers, education papers, and experience reports in cybersecurity, information security, artificial intelligence, and computing education. Topics of Interest include (but are not limited to): - Cybersecurity education and curriculum design - Information security and network security education - Artificial intelligence in cybersecurity and AI security - Secure coding, software security, and systems security education - Cyber defense, cyber operations, and cyber ranges - Digital forensics and incident response education - Privacy, cryptography, and data security education - Cloud security, IoT security, and emerging technologies - Cybersecurity workforce development and training - Community college cybersecurity programs and CAE initiatives - Online learning, e-learning, and hybrid cybersecurity instruction - Ethics, policy, governance, and law in cybersecurity - Security awareness and human factors in cybersecurity - Assessment, accreditation, and program evaluation in cybersecurity education - Interdisciplinary approaches to information security education Submission Guidelines: - Original, unpublished work not under review elsewhere - Double-blind peer review (anonymized submissions required) - Paper length: 3,000–4,000 words (plus references) - Abstract: maximum 250 words - IEEE conference template required - Include DOI links for references where available - Provide ORCID iDs for all authors in final submission - Disclose use of generative AI tools, if applicable Publication: Accepted papers will be published in The Journal of the Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education (JCISSE) with Crossref DOIs and immediate open access.
