The Journal of Environmental Science and Sustainable Development 6th Symposium:
Conservation Biology: Integrating Science, Policy, and Indigenous Knowledge for Sustainable Development We invite researchers, practitioners, academics, and policymakers to submit abstracts and papers related to the following themes: 1. Environmental Contamination and Ecosystem Health - Heavy metal pollution assessment and its impact on biodiversity - Bioaccumulation in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems - Molecular approaches to environmental monitoring 2. Climate Change Mitigation and Forest Conservation - Forest governance and deforestation prevention - Carbon sequestration and biodiversity co-benefits 3. Indigenous Ecological Knowledge and Traditional Conservation - Traditional ecological calendars and sustainable hunting practices - Indigenous community-based conservation systems - Ethnobiological approaches to biodiversity protection - Integration of traditional and scientific knowledge systems 4. Multi-scale Conservation Approaches - Conservation strategies from molecular to landscape levels - Policy integration at local, national, and global scales - Community participation in conservation programs - Science-policy-community interface in environmental management 5. SDGs Integration in Conservation Biology - Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in biodiversity conservation - Urban biodiversity and its relevance to SDGs - Conservation education for sustainable development - Other SDG-related conservation issues Please submit your abstract under the most relevant theme.
