Join us in person or online in Montevideo, Uruguay, from March 23 to 26, 2025, for an inspiring experience at EDUNINE2025, where innovation and education converge to shape the future of engineering education.
The 2025 IX IEEE World Engineering Education Conference (EDUNINE2025) will offer a hybrid format, combining both online and in-person sessions to ensure comprehensive participation from all attendees. Authors may choose to present their papers either in person at Universidad ORT in Montevideo or online via the conference platform, with both formats being equally valued. All participants will have online access to all sessions, including both live and virtual presentations. EDUNINE is an annual conference organized in collaboration with COPEC for IEEE Region 9 (Latin America) of the IEEE Education Society. This event is recognized as one of the premier regional conferences in Engineering, Technology, and Computing EDUCATION, alongside FIE, EDUCON, and TALE. It is held annually in different cities across Latin America. The theme for this year's conference is “Education in the Age of Generative AI: Embracing Digital Transformation”. We invite authors to submit their original research and educational experiences in the following categories: • Full Papers: 6 pages • Work-in-Progress (WIP) Papers: 4 pages • Workshop Proposals: 2 to 6 pages • Doctoral Symposium Papers: 4 pages (for current doctoral research) Submissions must be in English to reach a broader audience and will undergo peer review based on criteria such as originality, technical content, relevance, and readability. Accepted papers presented at the conference will be included in the IEEE digital library IEEEXplore®, which partners with various publishers and vendors, thereby expanding the reach of the research. Oral Presentation languages at the conference will include English, Portuguese, and Spanish, catering to the diverse audience in Latin America. In addition to paper presentations and the Doctoral Symposium, EDUNINE2025 will feature pre-conference workshops, plenaries, panels, hybrid social events, and a pre-conference tour. This comprehensive program ensures rich interactions and networking opportunities for all participants. |
