The purpose of the conference is to: (a) present new advances and research results in the field of Tourism and Creative Industries, (b) explore and promote different perspectives on how creative industries operate in a varying cultural and policy context related to tourism. In order to contribute to the global discussion on this topic, our international peer-reviewed conference will provide an interdisciplinary platform for academics, researchers, policy makers, students and professionals. As the fields of creative industries, tourism and hospitality industry cross over into multiple areas and disciplines, authors are welcome to submit from a diverse range of topics, perspectives and disciplines.
The range of research submissions may include conceptual, empirical, experimental and case studies dealing with: - Tourism and creative industries: concepts and measurement - Creative economy and local development - Visual art (architecture, movies, fashion, etc.) and tourism - Creative cities, creative spaces and urban policy - Creative industries in destination branding - Cultural institution in building destination identity - Cultural tourism, creative tourism and sustainable development - New media in tourism and creative industries - Employee creativity in tourism and hospitality industry - Cultural events and festivals - Service innovation and creativity in tourism and hospitality industry - Creative tourist experience, satisfaction and loyalty - Creative tourism products: trends and best practices - Tourism and creative industries legislation issues and activities The selection of the papers will be made in accordance with a double-blind review process. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, indexed in Thomson Reuters – WOS Core Collection – CPCI (Conference Proceedings Citation Index), Cabi Publishing - CAB Direct, EBSCO – Hospitality & Tourism Complete, ProQuest - ABI/INFORM Global. |
