Call for workshop proposals
27th International Conference on Field Programmable Logic and Applications Ghent, Belgium September, 4 - 8, 2017 www.fpl2017.org Abstract and Title Submission Deadline (mandatory): March 19, 2017 Full Paper Submission Deadline: March 26, 2017 Workshop proposals deadline: April 15, 2017 The International Conference on Field-Programmable Logic and Applications (FPL) was the first and remains the largest conference covering the rapidly growing area of field-programmable logic and reconfigurable computing. During the past 26 years, many of the advances in reconfigurable system architectures, applications, embedded processors, design automation methods and tools were first published in the proceedings of the FPL conference series. The conference objective is to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry and from around the world. The 27th edition will take place in Ghent, Belgium, from September 4 until September 8, 2017. The main conference will take place Monday through Wednesday while Tutorials and Workshops will run Thursday and Friday. Following the success from previous editions, FPL 2017 will host several workshops and tutorials on September 7th & 8th, 2017. We are soliciting proposals for new and recurring workshops to be organized with FPL 2017, as they provide excellent opportunities to bring together researchers and practitioners from different communities to share their experiences in an interactive atmosphere, and to foster collaboration for new and innovative projects. We invite you to submit workshop proposals on any topic related to the broad set of Architectures and Technology, Applications and Benchmarks, Design Methods and Tools, Self-aware and Adaptive Systems, and Trends and Education before the deadline of April 15th, 2017. Proposals will be assessed and reviewed quickly, on a First-Come-First-Served basis, to give enough time and resources to the workshop organizers to attract high-quality submissions. Therefore, early submissions - from February 15th till April 15th - are welcome and will get the go/no go notification within two weeks from the submission. We strongly encourage workshops that focus on innovative and original ideas related to the core topics of FPL. Organizers can choose between invited presentations (to be listed at the time of submission), open call for papers, or a combination of both. Any other forms of interaction with the audience - panels, demo's, posters - are of course welcome, as we see workshops providing as many and dynamic forms of engaging the audience as possible. More information on the proposal requirements are listed on the FPL website www.fpl2017.org Please, send your proposals by email to the FPL 2017 Workshop and Tutorial Chairs at workshops@fpl2017.org. Please, write “[FPL 2017] Workshop Proposal” on the e-mail subject line. Workshop Chairs: Ana Lucia Varbanescu, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands Esam El-Araby, University of Kansas, USA |
