CALL FOR SPECIAL TRACKS
Special tracks are held in parallel with the general conference and are an integral part of the FLAIRS conferences. They provide researchers in focused areas the opportunity to meet and present their work, and offer a forum for interaction among the broader community of artificial intelligence researchers. Each Special track is managed by a Special track chair. Papers are reviewed by a program committee specific for the track and are required to meet the same standards as papers in the general conference. Special track papers are published in the conference proceedings. Tracks of interest are in all areas of artificial intelligence, including but not limited to: Applied AI in Healthcare, Government, Education, etc. Applied Natural Language Processing AI for Internet of Things Autonomous Robots and Agents Case-Based Reasoning Deep Learning and Data Mining Explainable AI Intelligent Learning Technologies Rule-Based Reasoning Semantic, Logics, Information Extraction Uncertain Reasoning Security, Privacy and Trust Games, Serious Games, and Multimedia Neuro-technologies and Brain-Machine Intelligence Recommender Systems AI Workforce Education and Training Deontic logic and normative systems Chairs of Special tracks will work closely with the Special tracks coordinator and are expected to respond promptly and communicate regularly to maximize the potential impact of the track. Special track chairs may submit papers to their own tracks; those papers will be reviewed by the general conference program committee, and acceptance decisions will be made by the conference program co-chairs. Proposals must be made using the Special track proposal template. Please include the following information in all proposals: Title of the special track. Special track organizing and program committee, including chairs and (potential) reviewers. The program committee should be large enough for each paper to have 4 reviews. Names of any speakers you are considering inviting. (FLAIRS cannot offer any form of financial support for special track invited speakers at this stage.) Brief description of organizing experience (if applicable). Special tracks that fail to attract sufficient papers will be merged into the general conference or a suitable alternative track.
