Call for Papers/Workshops/Tutorials/Invited Talks/TPC: 2016 International Conference on Internet of Things and Applications (IOTA’ 2016), January 2016, Pune, India *********************************************************************************** Technically Co-sponsored by IEEE Pune Section and its COMSOC and CS Chapters Internet of Things (IoT) is emerging as new paradigm in the development and deployment of Internet, and is also seen as a next generation of ICT evolution. It is forecasted that in near future, IoT will change everything, including every aspect of our lives because of its direct impact on communication, education, healthcare, environment, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, food, transport, business, science, community, humanity and many more. In IoT, things would be seamlessly integrated in information frameworks, sharing data and creating the knowledge intelligently. Recently, IoT has attracted a great attention of researchers, Industry, Government organizations and other stakeholders, bringing them on one platform to research, address vast challenges posed by IoT and to capitalize unprecedented opportunities. This international conference would provide a platform for distinguished gathering of researchers from academia and Industry working in the field of IoT, sensor networks, data processing, hardware and software platforms to share and discuss the latest advances challenges and future research directions for practical realization of IoT. The conference would feature plenary and keynote speeches, interactive sessions, workshops, tutorials, exhibition, oral and poster paper presentations. The conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE. Accepted and presented papers would be published in IEEE Xplore. Papers submitted to IOTA’ 2016 must not have been published, submitted, or accepted for publication elsewhere. Papers are to be submitted electronically via EasyChair Conference Management System (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iota2016). The submissions should not exceed six pages and should follow the IEEE double-column format for conferences. Detailed instructions, templates and guidelines for electronic submission are available on IOTA’16 website (http://www.iota2016.org). The papers presented in conference will be published on IEEE Xplore. If the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors will be required to register and attend the conference to present the paper in order to include the paper in the conference proceedings/IEEE Xplore. Call for Workshops and Tutorials Proposals are invited from groups or individuals interested to host workshops and tutorials on conference theme and relevant fields during the pre/conference period. The purpose of workshops and tutorials is to provide an opportunity for participants from academia, industry, government and other related parties to present and discuss novel ideas on current and emerging topics relevant to conference them. We encourage workshops that bring together people working on new and developing research topics that favour highly interactive discussions. Tutorial proposals are encouraged that go in-depth into topics of interest to the Internet of Things community.
