Do you have an exciting project that you're working on in the field of Tribology that could be of interest to your peers?
Tribology is the science and technology of interactive surfaces in relative motion. It incorporates various scientific and technological disciplines such as surface chemistry, fluid mechanics, materials, lubricants, contact mechanics, bearings, and lubrication systems. It is customarily divided into three fields: friction, lubrication, and wear, and most work in tribology covers at least two of these. Submit a 200 word abstract for an opportunity to be invited to exhibit a poster and deliver a short presentation. There will even be a panel of judges on the day who will interview you informally and watch your session - with certificates being awarded! Topics of interest include but are not limited to: - Tribology and tribo-engineering - Coatings and surface engineering - Testing and condition monitoring - Lubrication chemistry Why exhibit a poster? - Meet potential employers from industry and academia - Network with your peers - Enter the competition to gain recognition for your achievements - Showcase your work and get expert feedback Abstracts need to be received by Tuesday 8 March. Please submit your abstract by visiting our website. |
