We are pleased to announce the deadline extenmsion for submissions in the Sixth Edition of the GIS LATAM Conference 2025. This international event, hosted by UPIITA-IPN, is organized by the GIS LATAM Group, UPIITA-IPN, and ANTACOM. This year, we return with a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and remote participation.
GIS LATAM 2025 aims to bring together researchers, professionals, and academics to explore the latest advances in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and their intersection with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging geospatial technologies. We encourage contributions addressing core and applied areas in GIScience, including applications in: ● Human Geography, Health Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Natural Resources and Biodiversity, Sustainable Development, Climate and Environmental Studies This edition presents exciting challenges and opportunities to advance interdisciplinary dialogue in spatial data technologies. Submissions We invite authors to submit original, unpublished full research papers. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process and will be evaluated by the Program Committee based on quality, originality, and relevance. 📝 Paper Template and Overleaf access: Templates and Guidelines (Google Drive) 📄 Minimum paper length: 12 pages (no maximum length).
