The International Sculpture Center (ISC) is seeking panel proposals for the 25th International Sculpture Conference: New Frontiers in Sculpture in Phoenix, Arizona. Over 300 sculpture enthusiasts from around the world will gather this November 4-7, 2015 for engaging panel discussions, peer networking, and exciting cultural events surrounding topics in contemporary sculpture.
Submissions must be 200 words and include a clear but brief statement of the panel objective. Panel topics will include: Creative Placemaking Art Making in Rural and Urban Communities Art on the Borders Socially Engaged Art Practice Desert as Site: New Earthworks Multi-Disciplinary Artist Led Investigations Art in Unknown Places Arcology, Architecture, and an Exploration in Utopias Other topics in contemporary sculpture The abstract submission deadline is March 1, 2015.
