A CALL FOR ABSTRACTS & PAPERS
National Cybersecurity Institute Journal The National Cybersecurity Institute at Excelsior College is an academic and research center based in Washington, DC dedicated to increasing knowledge of the cybersecurity discipline and its workforce demands. The National Cybersecurity Institute Journal, a high-quality, peer-reviewed journal, covers topics that appeal to a broad readership within the cybersecurity discipline, with a particular focus on education, training, and workforce development. The manuscripts submitted to the Journal are reviewed for their contribution to the advancement of applied research in the area of cybersecurity. The National Cybersecurity Institute Journal is currently extending a call for abstracts & papers, including book and software reviews, editorials and commentary in all areas of cybersecurity that contribute to understanding the issues associated with cybersecurity. Manuscripts must be written at a level allowing a broad audience from undergraduates to practitioners and researchers. Each manuscript must be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) and submitted with necessary graphics, citations and references in accordance with the APA 6th edition stylistic guidelines. All abstracts and manuscripts will undergo a peer review process. The 150-250 word abstract should state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper. It should be submitted in block style, aligned to the left. Author and co-author names, affiliations and email contacts should be included beneath the title. References do not need to be included in the abstract. All abstracts must be received no later than August 1, 2014. Authors will be notified no later than August 15, 2014.
