Call For Papers

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for the session GI1.7/NP1.5 of the forthcoming European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly entitled “Uncertainty & Sensitivity Analysis in Geosciences".

The General Assembly takes place in Vienna, Austria, from April 27th to May 2nd, 2014. The abstract submission deadline is 16 January 2014. Full information on the session can be found on http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2014/session/15509. We encourage submissions dealing with applications of sensitivity and uncertainty analysis in any branch of geosciences. Both applied and theoretical research contributions are welcome.

Potential topics for the session include, but are not limited to the following:

Ø Uncertainty and Sensitivity analysis of Remote sensing and GIS based models
Ø Uncertainty and Sensitivity analysis in geophysics & geochemistry
Ø Artificial Intelligence techniques in data-driven and hybrid models
Ø Sensitivity and uncertainty of contaminant transport models
Ø Algorithms performance and assessment in geosciences
Ø Hydro-geo-environment and Soil system sciences
Ø Uncertainty of Geoscientific models and data
Ø Hydro-geological modelling and engineering
Ø Parameter and structural model uncertainty
Ø Geomatics sciences and engineering
Ø Geochronology techniques
Ø Land Atmosphere interactions and Modelling

For any more additional details, please feel free to email us. Please forward this message among your group also. We are looking forward to seeing you in Vienna.

With best regards,
