CALL FOR PAPERS – ‘Innovations in Rural Regions’

We are currently soliciting manuscript for a special issue of Technology and Innovation: Innovations in Rural Regions.

For this issue, we are interested in articles and reviews addressing advancements and improvements of various technologies associated with rural areas. Relevant topics include: (1) Inventions/products originated from the needs of specific rural regions (agriculture, healthcare, environmental safety, transportation, communication) and (2) Novel applications of region-specific resources (alternative fuels, water purification, and/or decontamination systems, wind/solar power, unique landscapes).

Initial manuscripts should be submitted by September 2, 2013. The manuscript submission should include: title, author affiliation, abstract of no more than 250 words, key words, and corresponding author’s contact information.

Technology and Innovation – Proceedings of the National Academy of Inventors presents information encompassing the entire field of applied sciences with a focus on technology and innovation and welcomes manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. We publish original articles, critical reviews, opinions, commentaries, essays and patent reviews of interest to our readers.
