* INTRODUCTION

The LARS multiconference aims at promoting a comprehensive scientific
meeting in the area of Robotics, bringing together researchers,
undergraduate and graduate students of Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and related areas.

This scientific event is part of the Multiconference Latin American
Robotics Trends that also covers our traditional Robotics Competitions
(LARC). LARS includes technical sessions, with oral presentation of full
papers, talks of lecturers with recognized importance in robotics field,
tutorials, and three workshops: of Educational Robotics (WRE), of
Undergraduate Works in Robotics (WUWR) and of Graduate Works in Robotics
(WGWR). We are looking forward to seeing you at Arequipa, October 2013.
