Call For Papers

The academic program will run for three days (June 13, 14, and 15) and will consist of contributed talks, keynote talks, tutorials, data analysis forums and cross-disciplinary discussion sessions. We would like to invite you to submit contributed talks or contributed sessions. All individual contributed talks will be oral presentations. The presentations will last 20-30 minutes depending on the number of submitted abstracts and the schedule. If your wish to organize a session, then you have a great deal of leeway. Feel free to suggest focused academic sessions, integrative/discussion sessions, competition sessions, poster sessions, or anything else that you feel would add to the conference!

Abstract Submission

Please email abstracts to Stephen France at france@uwm.edu. Abstracts can be submitted individually or together as part of a session. Submission and acceptance will be rolling until the final deadline of April 15, 2013. Abstracts should be submitted either in Microsoft Word or in ASCII text format. Abstracts should be no longer than 400 words long. For contributed sessions, please give a short summary of the session and list any individual abstracts. Please give an estimate of the time required for the session.

Note: Graduate students should identify themselves as such in their submissions in order to be eligible for possible awards, etc.

Publication of Abstracts

The abstracts will be listed on the Classification Society website. If you wish, you will be able to upload conference presentations/materials to the Classification Society website. High quality papers may be invited for submission to the "Journal of Classification".
