************************************************************************ CoRTA 2011 Compilers, Programming Languages, Related Technologies and Applications 2011 http://www.di.uevora.pt/corta-2011/ Coimbra, Portugal, September 8-9, 2011 CoRTA2010 is a track of INForum -- Simposio de Informatica: http://inforum.org.pt/INForum2011 ************************************************************************ ************************************************************************ Aims and Scope: *************** CoRTA (5th edition) is a forum where researchers, developers, educators exchange ideas and information on the latest academic or industrial work on language design, processing, assessment and applications thereof. The conference focuses on theoretical, practical and experimental work and invites "research papers" but also "position papers" and "posters or tool demos" on methods and tools for all aspects of compiler technology, code analysis, and all language paradigms. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Modeling, and specification of domain specific languages. * Paradigms, concepts, methodologies, and novel constructs on programming languages. * Language quality assessment and grammar metrics. * Compilation and interpretation techniques * Dynamic and "just-in-time" compilation. * Code generation and optimization. * Run-time techniques and memory management. * Virtual machines. * Program representation and visualization. * Program analysis and transformation. * Programming, debugging, and refactoring environments. * Secure, parallel and distributed programming environments. * Mobile and Embedded programming environments. Important Dates: **************** * Abstract submission June 06, 2011 * Submission deadline June 13, 2011 * Author notification July 04, 2011 * Camera-ready July 15, 2011 * Conference September 8-9, 2011 Submission Guidelines: ********************** Submissions must be written in English, submitted in pdf format and may be up to 12 pages, including bibliographic references, for a research paper; 4 pages, for a position paper or tool demo paper. Authors are required to use the Springer LNCS style for proceedings, available at http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-2-72376-0 Article submission is done with the EasyChair reviewing system, on http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=inforum2011; the track name is "Compiladores e Linguagens de Programação". Publication: ************ The proceedings will be made available at the conference, in hardcopy, and distributed on CoRR. As with previous editions, the authors of the best papers will be invited to write extended versions for a special issue of an international journal.
