Call For Papers

ISRERU-3 is the continuation of the success of Sino-Japan bilateral workshop (25-27 September 2003) and Sino-Japan-Korea trilateral workshop (8-11 July 2006) on Rare Earth Novel Materials in Changchun, and AFM-3 is the preconference of the 5th International Symposium on Functional Materials (ISFM2012, Australia, 15-20 December 2012), which continues its great success in Jiuzhaigou, China (AFM-1, 9-13 June 2009) and in Jeju, Korea (AFM-2, 28-31 July 2011).

Both rare earth resource utilization and functional materials have been received increasing attentions in their demand, application and development in recent years because of their dominant role in our science and society. The ISRERU-3 and AFM-3 aim to assess the current status and to identify future priority and directions in research, design and applications of catalytic materials, ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials, fuel-cell and battery materials, magnetic materials, optical materials, shape memory materials, supercapacitor materials, thermoelectric materials, and other related advanced functional materials. Both conferences provide a platform and an opportunity to promote mutual interaction, information dissemination and exchange between researchers, and hence to promote fruitful collaborations on advanced, state-of-the-art functional materials research and development being developed.

Topics:
Catalytic materials
Optical materials
Energy storage materials
Rare earth resource utilization
Ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials
Shape memory materials
Magnetic materials
Thermoelectric materials

Conference proceedings: Selected manuscripts after review processing will be published in 3-4 SCI journals.

Registration fee: US$450
