Dear Students, Scholars, NGO and governmental representatives:
We are happy to announce EDC2012- a great opportunity to gain exposure to other cultures while expanding your social network and adding valuable interest to your resume. The 7th Annual Education and Development Conference will take place from 5-7 March 2012 in the beautiful city of Bangkok, Thailand. This three-day program is unlike most academic conferences. Addressing the importance of education and its strong correlation with development, EDC2012 aims to bring scholars and students together as well as experienced professionals offering them the opportunity to not only learn from each other and share experiences, but also expand their global network, piling the building blocks for change for years to come. The Conference will pose and seek to answer questions such as: What are educational systems like and what is the potential of educational development in different parts of the world? Is there gender/ race and class equality in access to education? What can be done to promote the importance of education? What are the secrets of successful educational systems? Where are we on the Millennium Development path as regards the goal of promoting and providing access to education for all? What can we do to move ahead? We welcome: ORAL, POSTER and VIRTUAL presentations. Early submissions deadline is 15th October 2011. Early submissions are strongly encouraged due to limited space in the venue, as applications are reviewed on a rolling admission basis- as long as space is available. Papers presented at the conference will be published in dedicated ISBN publication of EDC2012 Conference Proceedings. We look forward to seeing you in Bangkok in March 2012! Sincerely, EDC2012 Organizing Committee Email: contact@tomorrowpeople.org |
