It is an honor for us to invite you to the SGEM 2014 GeoConference on ECOLOGY, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION and LEGISLATION that is part of the 14th International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference & EXPO SGEM2014 (www.sgem.org), where we bring together scientists, educators, and practitioners representing research and educational institutions, companies, government agencies and consulting organizations from all over the world to exchange of ideas, to define the research priorities in the above fields and to propose potential solutions of problems related to the global changes. The SGEM events date back in 2001, so next year we will celebrate 15 years of these. Over the past years, we have established high standards in publishing research papers, stimulating their progress and achievements. Papers are approved by the Review Committee, and will be published into the SGEM CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS (ABSTRACTS+FULL PAPERS) (ISSN: 1314-2704) indexed by ISI Web of Knowledge, Web of Science, Elsevier Products, CrossRef, ProQuest, EBSCO, Google Scholar.
Forwarding our tradition, SGEM GeoConference on ECOLOGY, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION and LEGISLATION considers questions concerned to Ecology and Environmental protection; Environmental Economics; Education and Accreditation; Environmental Legislation, Multilateral Relations and Funding Opportunities.
The conference will be organized in Workshops and Invited Sessions that will be held as a parallel to the conference oral presentations sessions. These are additional opportunities for SGEM participants to exchange views and to learn about best practice in environmental researches application and management. The concurrent SGEM Expo, related to the conference topics, is another excellent opportunity to promote company and to meet potential clients and business partners. All the sessions are accompanied with various social events to make the conference a pleasant experience in all aspects.
All theoretical, methodological and conceptual reports presenting contemporary geoscience development and problems solving ideas are expected with a great interest. Special attention will be given to reports, proposing science based ideas for decision-making and adaptation to the new reality of global changes. During Official Award Ceremony that will be on the last day, authors of the Best presentations (Oral/PhD/Poster) will be awarded by the Scientific Committee with special crystal plaques.
