(Deadline: Jan 30, 2021) Scope Shale companies are realizing that they have a large amount of information and data and they can gain competitiveness by relevant and domain-based implementation of AI, and ML in analysis and modeling of the collected data. Data-driven analytics can be proved as a vital competitive differentiation tool in the upstream oil and the gas industry. Shale Analytics is a discipline of the state-of-the-art data driven techniques including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data mining for producing from and operating shale assets. It integrates all relevant data (well, reservoir, completion, frac job, placement, and stacking, and operation) with production history in order to model the complex physics of hydrocarbon production from shale. Tentative list of topics · Fundamentals of Shale Analytics · Modeling Production Practices from Shale · New Technologies for Shale Production Optimization · Shale Numerical Simulation · Parameters Control Production from Shale · Shale Full Field Reservoir Modeling · Descriptive Analytics for Shale · Predictive Analytics for Shale · Prescriptive Analytics for Shale · AI-based Dynamic Modeling for Shale · Shale assets, bio-inspires · Spotted Hyenas, Emperor Penguin · Shale Management · Shale Formation Quality · Shale Numerical simulation · Shale Full Field Reservoir Modeling Important Dates: Full Chapter Submission: Jan 30, 2021 Chapter Acceptance: Feb 5, 2021 Camera Read Version: Feb 15, 2021 How to Submit the Chapter: Advise us how many words your chapter is likely to be and the number of figures/tables.
