MANAGING CONNECTIVITY IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN – Human Resources, Sustainability, and Security in the Presence of Global Financial Risk

It is with pleasure that we announce the 5th ALRT Asian Logistics Round Table & Conference to be hosted by the University of British Columbia in Vancouver BC, Canada, June 14-15, 2012.

Over the past 5 years, ALRT has become an institution amongst transportation and logistics research centres worldwide, addressing methodological issues in transportation and logistics. Previous conferences have been held in Asia and Europe; the 2012 Vancouver ALRT Conference will be held, for the first time, in North America.

The ALRT 2012 Conference is broadly based and invites submissions covering the air, marine and general logistics fields:

- The logistics landscape in the interior of China or Eastern Europe and the potential for migration
