The ICASC 2026 conference continues the series of the former 16 annual events of the Romanian LCG Federation (RO-LCG) on “Grid, Cloud and High-Performance Computing in Science“ (2007-2022). Its title has been changed and the topics have been expanded to offer a more comprehensive coverage of the current evolution in scientific computing.
Prospective authors are invited to submit for peer review original, previously unpublished manuscripts on new results/developments, as well as technical reports, to be orally presented in the conference sections. The main area of interest are: T1 — Advanced Computing Infrastructures Grid, Cloud, HPC, Quantum, Multi-core, Cluster computing Cloud-native architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Middleware, resource management, runtime environments Fault tolerance, reliability, and resilience in distributed systems Energy-efficient computing and green IT for data centers and HPC T2 — Scientific Software & Workflows Scientific workflows, automation, and orchestration Development and optimization of scientific software Monitoring, management, and data organization tools National and international contributions to large-scale collaborations E-infrastructures for collaborative research T3 — Data Management & Big Data High-performance data storage, data lakes, and data management Big Data analytics pipelines for scientific and industrial research Processing and analysis of large-scale scientific data Automated measurement systems and data analysis T4 — Artificial Intelligence Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning infrastructures Machine learning applications in scientific research AI-accelerated simulations and analytics Intelligent optimization of scientific and engineering systems T5 — Modeling & Digital Engineering Numerical methods for physics and engineering Digital twins and simulation platforms Computational modeling in physics, chemistry, and biology T6 — Communication, IoT & Edge Computing Communication, networking, and broadcast technologies Wireless, satellite, and space communications Antennas and propagation Edge computing and IoT platforms for real-time processing T7 — Engineering, Security & Industry Components, devices, circuits, and systems Semiconductor technologies and IoT integration Power energy systems, robotics, and control systems Cybersecurity strategies, trends, and tools Signal processing and analysis Industrial and interdisciplinary engineering applications All presentations will be uploaded on the conference web site. Extended abstracts will be published, if accepted, in the Book of Abstracts, which will be made available at the conference venue. Accepted up to 4-6 pages manuscripts will be published in the Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore digital library. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. Longer manuscripts, on specific topics, can be submitted for publication in international or regional journals. For more information please contact the organizers. |
