Call For Papers

Cybersecurity is increasingly being recognised as a fundamental property of modern Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). The rise of interconnectivity in CPS domains, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Grids, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) has resulted in improved efficiency to support a range of advanced use-cases. At the core of this interconnectivity are Digital Twins (DTs), an emerging technology that enables next-generation communication networks that provide real-time synchronization and monitoring between physical and digital domains. However, such connectivity exposes CPS to significant cyber threats that can directly disrupt physical processes, compromise human safety, and cause large-scale economic, societal, or environmental damage. Cybersecurity is therefore not a peripheral concern but a fundamental requirement. Robust security frameworks ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience within CPS, enabling them to operate reliably under adversarial conditions. Consequently, advancing CPS research and deployment demands an equally strong focus on adaptive, multi-layered cybersecurity strategies that safeguard both digital assets and the physical world they govern. We invite contributions that address digital resilience and cybersecurity challenges in evolving and future CPS domains. We will seek technical, empirical, and theoretical contributions that propose advancements in modelling, measurement, and analysis of defensive and offensive security topics within the context of CPS, including intrusion detection, privacy, encryption, network security, and organisational resilience. Topics of interest for this workshop includes, but is not limited to, those defined below.

• Anomaly/intrusion detection of cyberattacks in networked CPS
• Artificial Intelligence for cybersecurity and resilience in CPS
• Zero-touch cyberattack mitigation
• Secure CPS network communications
• Privacy of CPS networks and data transmission
• Measurement of novel attack vectors targeting CPS
• Security of federated DTs and interconnected CPS
• Zero-trust in CPS
• Sustainable cybersecurity for CPS
• Secure inter-twin communications and layering
• Security of industrial wireless communications
• Security of DT interconnectivity and communication layers
• Service orchestration across networked CPS for security and resilience
• Programmable CPS cybersecurity
• Edge-based cybersecurity for CPS
• Cloud-native cybersecurity for CPS
• Post-Quantum security for CPS and DTs
• Attack modelling for CPS threats (man-in-the-middle, false data injection, denial of service etc)
