Although Arabic is the fourth most spoken language in the world, and although the world's most prestigious universities are teeming with Arab talents and researchers in various fields, the contribution of the Arabic language to the technological field is very weak, and there are many intertwined reasons for this. Therefore, it is currently necessary to evaluate the reality of our language in light of the spread of artificial intelligence
technologies in all areas of life, starting from the discovery and diagnosis of the most difficult diseases to detect by humans, the emergence of self-driving vehicles, and even travel to other planets. Accordingly, our Arab world can no longer avoid this new reality and the urgent need to benefit from the ability of the Arabic language to derive and integrate in building new terms related to artificial intelligence, smart networks, and
the digital development that the world is witnessing.
The Arab International Conference on Artificial Intelligence seeks to be a building block and a periodic event that represents an effective launch to enhance research and publication in the Arabic language in the field of artificial intelligence.
