Call for Papers continuously open at the Journal SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE.
SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE is a scientific journal of the Portuguese Sociological Association. It has an open access policy and publishes original articles (wheter as a result of research in the context of basic/pure research or in the context of applied research, research-action) on Sociology. Scientific articles can be written in English, Portuguese, Spanish or French and will be independently evaluated by at least two experts. In addition, SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE uses double-blind peer review, which means that the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa. The Journal, exclusively online edition, publishes three issues per year: April, August and December. Is indexed in SciELO Portugal, , DOAJ, Latindex, ERIH PLUS and is qualified in Qualis-Capes (Brazil). Is under review in SHERPA/RoMEO, The Publication Forum (Finland). Manuscripts that comply with the Journal’s publication standards are independently evaluated by at least two experts. The Journal uses a double-blind peer review system, which means that the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa (by creating an anonymized file). The Direction of SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE is responsible for the final publication decision. Before publication, all texts (articles and reviews) will be submitted to a plagiarism detection system, using the URKUND Plagiarism Detection – Ouriginal software. Authors found to have plagiarized the work of others or their own will not be able to publish the submitted work and other publications in SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE during a period of time to be established by the Journal’s direction. |
