Guest Editor: Prof. Zhang Gengxin, PLA University of Science and Technology, China
The Journal of Electronics (China) is pleased to announce that it will publish a special issue entitled “Special Issue on Space and Satellite Communications”. Recently, there has been a growing interest in space and satellite communications – the technology that promises to overcome the problem of wide range coverage and long distance communication. The objective of this special issue is to bring together the state-of-art research results of deep space and satellite communications. We target academic contributions dealing with fundamentals of satellite communication and deep space communication. Original contributions previously unpublished and not currently under review by another journal, are solicited in relevant areas including (but not limited to) the following: )) System Design and Optimization; )) Orbit and Constellation Design; )) Antenna and Propagation; )) Multiple Access Technology; )) Modulation and Coding; )) Channel Measurement, Modeling and Evaluation; )) Networking Technology; )) Admission Control and Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation; )) QoS Technology; )) Delay Tolerant Network(DTN) Routing; )) Interplanetary Networking; )) Cross-Layer Design; )) MIMO and Cooperative Communication Technology; )) Network Coding; )) Cognitive Radio; )) Privacy and Security; )) Payload Architectures and Techniques; )) Convergence and Integration among Satellite Networks, Terrestrial Networks and Space Platforms; )) All-IP technology; )) HAPS and HALO communications; Submission Guidelines Submitted papers must contain original research that has not been previously published, nor concurrently submitted for publication. All manuscripts must be submitted through Manuscript Central at http://je.ie.ac.cn/journalx_jeen/authorLogOn.action?mag_Id=1. Submission must be clearly marked “Special Issue on Space and Satellite Communications” on the cover page. Consistent with standard practice, each submitted paper will receive a minimum of two reviews. Paper will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation.
