Call For Papers

For the eighth consecutive year will be held on SPDECE. This is an event that causes an open framework for computer specialists and education to discuss progress in the implementation of new technologies in education, covering aspects such as new teaching and learning, content standards and metadata, objects and learning design and teaching materials in digital format. With seven previous editions, has become the network of research groups achieved high national level on these issues.

SPDECE research focuses on new training systems and electronic learning, based on the design of digital content. The topics include how to achieve greater flexibility and reuse of content for use in different learning contexts. This year the symposium is dedicated to the management and exploitation of knowledge of educational and practical applications in the current academic.

SCOPE:
■ Modeling and Knowledge Management in Education
■ Educational Applications in Higher Education and Secondary Education.
■ Authoring and design of digital educational content.
■ Open educational content.
■ Specifications and educational and cultural standards.
■ Evaluation of learning objects and designs.
■ Experiences with educational and cultural applications.
■ Experiences of using technology in teaching.
■ Education and training in tele-learning systems.
■ Engineering and instructional design.
■ Metadata and semantic web in education and culture.
■ Learning processes and designs.
■ Theories of learning and digital content
■ Selection and composition of contents and designs.
■ Cultural heritage in education.
■ Platforms and learning environments.
■ Learning object repositories.
■ Service learning and social networks.

Contributions may be written in English, Spanish, Portuguese or French and should describe work completed or in progress related to any areas of interest described. Papers will be accepted in one of the following categories:

■ Extensive communications (new contributions or experiences completed): Maximum 8 pages.
■ Short communications (in principle projects, experience or studies in progress), Max 4 pages.

The format of contributions shall conform to the style of Springer LNS. Shipments are made through the application to submit contributions EasyChair. The Programme Committee welcomes proposals in the two categories above, can be adjusted to work in those categories after evaluation.
