The Workshop on Robotics in Education (WRE) is the premier Brazilian international conference dedicated to the role of robotics in learning. As a well-established forum, WRE brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners to explore the scientific, technical, and educational aspects of robotics in education. WRE is an official event held with the support of the Brazilian Society of Computing (SBC) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

The WRE 2025 will take place from October 13th to 15th at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), in Vitória, Brazil, a pleasant city with islands, slopes, coves, mangroves and beatiful beaches, besides rich colonial architecture.

Robotics has the power to motivate and inspire learners of all ages and education levels. Research consistently demonstrates that students become more engaged about learning when robotics is integrated into the educational process. As technology continues to transform our daily lives, especially with the rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics in Education serves as a compelling bridge, connecting people to the evolving technological landscape.

We welcome theoretical, experimental, and applied research that contributes to advancing the field of Robotics in Education.

Paper preparation and submission: Original articles with a maximum of 6 pages, including references and all figures, are welcome. Papers can be written in English (preferably), Spanish, or Portuguese. Notice that only papers in English will be submitted at IEEE Xplore, so we strongly encourage submissions in English. Important dates:
Paper Submission Site Open: April 3th, 2025
Manuscript submission deadline: June 8th, 2025
Review results: August 4th, 2025
Camera-ready submission: September 1st, 2025
Event: 13th to 15th of October 2025, Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), Vitoria, Brazil.

Registration and Proceedings- Accepted papers in English will be submitted to IEEE Xplore proceedings. Papers in Spanish and Portuguese will be accepted for presentation and included at SOL library of SBC (with ISBN and article DOI).

Registration fees are attractive, starting from R$150.00 (circa US$ 25.00) to students.
