AIMS AND SCOPE OF DATICS-NPC’12 WORKSHOP
DATICS Workshops were initially created by a network of researchers and engineers both from academia and industry in the areas of Design, Analysis and Tools for Integrated Circuits and Systems. Recently, DATICS has been extended to the fields of Communication, Computer Science, Software Engineering and Information Technology. The main target of DATICS-NPC12 is to bring together software/hardware engineering researchers, computer scientists, practitioners and people from industry to exchange theories, ideas, techniques and experiences related to all aspects of DATICS. DATICS-NPC’12 will be hosted by the 9th IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing (NPC 2012 - http://www.ftrai.org/npc2012) and take place in Gwangju, South Korea, 6-8 September 2012. A submitted paper must be clearly presented in English, must not exceed 10 pages in LNCS style, including tables and figures, and must be formatted in PDF format. Submission of a paper entails a commitment that, if the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work. Accepted papers in DATICS-NPC’12 will be published as LNCS (indexed by EI and ISTP) series published by Springer (pending). Expanded and enhanced versions of accepted papers in DATICS-NPC’12 can also be considered for inclusion in the IJDATICS journal. DATICS-NPC’12 REVIEW PROCESS DATICS-NPC’12 consists of about 120 experts in the related fields of DATICS both from academia and industry. Each submission will be sent to at least 2 members of the DATICS IPC and additional reviewers for review.
