The Global Power and Propulsion Society has issued a Call for Papers for its 2020 European Technical Conference, to be held on 7th - 9th September 2020 in Chania, Crete.
The conference focus is on Global challenges for a greener future: closing the gap between academic and industrial research. Authors are invited to submit abstracts related to the following topics: • Acoustics & Noise • Advanced Cycles & Performance • Advanced Numerical Methods & Modeling • Axial Compressors • Combustor & Combustions • Components Interactions • Controls • Cooling Technology • Design Optimization • Ducts & Nozzels • Heat Transfer • Instrumentation & Testing • Material & Manufacturing Technologies • Monitor & Diagnostics • Multi-discipline Coupling • Oil & Gas • Power Plant Applications • Radial Compressors • Rotor Dynamics & Mechanical System • Seal & Secondary Flow • Structural Dynamics & Aeromechanics • Turbines • Unsteady Flows • Wind Turbines Authors should submit an abstract with a word limit higher than 100 words but less than 200 words through the GPPS webtool. Submission Schedule Abstract Submission: 16th February 2020 Acceptance of Abstract: 24th February 2020 Full Paper Submission: 19th April 2020 Paper Acceptance: 14th June 2020 Revised Paper Submission: 1st July 2020 Revised Paper Acceptance: 13th July 2020 Final Paper Submission: 19th July 2020 Final acceptance of papers is determined by peer review of the draft manuscripts and approval of final papers by the Review Chair. One author for each paper published in the conference must attend to present it. A registration fee is required. All presented papers will be published preceding the conference, with selected papers recommended for publication published within the GPPS associated journal after the event. |
