We are excited to announce the Kentucky Cybersecurity Summit. This will be a free, one day information security conference in Versailles, KY. The conference will be held on Wednesday October 23rd, 2019 and will include a full day of content for security professionals. Kentucky Cybersecurity Summit is hosted by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), which comprises 16 community and technical colleges in Kentucky with over 70 campuses across the state.
Call for Papers (CFP) is now open through July 31st, 2019! We are accepting talks on a variety of security topics, from beginner to advanced. All skillsets are welcome to apply. As this is an EDU focused conference, each talk should be relatable to use in the EDU space. All proposals will be reviewed and voted on. Potential speakers will be notified by August 31st, 2019. The Kentucky CyberSecurity Summit is an all encompassing security conference that will potentially include topics from the following security tracks: * Audit/Compliance * IoT * Authentication (Single Sign on, multifactor, etc) * Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) * Risk Assessment/Vulnerability & Penetration Testing * SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) / logging solutions * Intrusion Detection and Malware Forensics, IDS & IPS Registration will begin at 8:00am EST and keynote speaker (TBD) is set to speak at 9am EST Each track will be 45 min in length and include a 15 minute break period between each information security track boxed lunches will be provided Summit will conclude at approximately 4pm EST |
