Call For Papers

COM.Geo 2013 in the Capital of Silicon Valley

COM.Geo 2013 will take place in the capital of Silicon Valley, San Jose, CA on July 22-24, 2013. There will be more exciting programs and more cross-disciplinary people at COM.Geo 2013. Besides government agencies, more and more top industrial companies have reserved in advance and are planning to not only show their latest technologies but also explore both tech & market potentials at the conference. Moreover, several important Silicon Valley Venture Capital (VC) teams will join us to help attendees accelerate technology transfer. COM.Geo 2013 will be a much more exciting and bigger gathering in Silicon valley for computing for geospatial research and technologies!

COM.Geo 2013 Call for Presentations

COM.Geo Presentations include Tech Talks / Demo Talks, Papers, Panels, Posters, Courses, Workshops, and Demo Videos, provide diverse opportunities for all decision-makers, engineers, researchers, developers, and users, across industrial companies, government agencies, and academic institutions, to present or demonstrate the latest work or share the latest visions and ideas at the COM.Geo conference, a leading geospatial computing community.

COM.Geo 2013 Call for Papers towards ACM Publication

COM.Geo papers, read and cited worldwide, have broad impact on the development of theory, method and practice in computing for geospatial fields. Accepted manuscripts are published by ACM, and appear in the ACM Digital Library for world distribution.

COM.Geo 2013 Subfield Program - Call for Papers:
Computer Vision and Image Processing for Geospatial R&A

Computer vision, image processing and machine learning technologies have been more and more merged with geospatial techniques in recent years. This strong combination is largely due to the technology improvements in both domains and strong commercial application incentives. We see Amazon acquire 3D mapping company Upnext, Apple bought C3 technology, Google glass employs augmented reality with real time location information. Behind all these emerging applications, computer vision, image processing, machine learning together with geospatial, location intelligence are the driving forces.
