Since its establishment in 2004, the ICDCIT conference series has stood as a prestigious global platform for scholars in Computer Science. It serves as a conduit for the exchange of research findings and ideas about the principles and applications of Distributed Computing and Intelligent Technology. The rapid ascendancy and integration of Artificial Intelligence across scientific and engineering domains have prompted the incorporation of 'Intelligent Technology' within the conference's purview. Undoubtedly, these technologies play an indispensable role for individuals and organizations engaged in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale systems featuring AI-based components and subsystems.
The forthcoming 21st International Conference on Distributed Computing and Intelligent Technology (ICDCIT-2025) is scheduled to convene in Bhubaneswar from January 8 to 11, 2025. Hosted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneswar, India, the event aims to facilitate discussions and advancements in the field. Continuing the tradition, Springer intends to publish the conference proceedings in the esteemed Lecture Notes series in Computer Science, a practice upheld in previous editions. URL: https://icdcit.ac.in/ ======================= Scope ======================= ICDCIT 2025 seeks original research papers that contribute to the foundations and applications of Distributed Computing and Intelligent Technology in the following areas: Distributed Computing ● Autonomous Computing, Self- organization and Self- stabilization ● Blockchain & Its Applications ● Cloud and Edge Computing ● Distributed and Cloud Storage ● Distributed and Concurrent Data Structures ● Distributed Auctions Algorithms ● Distributed Graph Algorithms ● Distributed Machine Learning Algorithms ● Distributed Operating Systems, Middleware, Databases ● Fault-tolerant Algorithms ● Game-Theoretic Approaches to Distributed Computing ● High-Performance, Cluster and Grid Computing and IoT Systems ● Memory Management ● Mobile Robots, Autonomous Agents, Programmable Particles, Nanoscale Robots, Biological Systems ● Multi-Agent Systems ● Parallel Multiprocessor and Multi-Core Architectures and Algorithms ● Peer-to-Peer Systems, Overlay Networks ● Replication and consistency ● Security in Distributed computing, Cryptographic Protocols ● WSN, Mesh and ad hoc networks Intelligent Technologies ● Affective Computing ● AI and Formal Verification ● AI planning ● Authenticity, Honesty & Deception ● Automated Vehicles ● Business Analytics ● Computational Intelligence ● Cyber-Physical Systems ● Deep Learning ● Engineering Intelligent Systems ● Ethics and AI ● Explainability in AI ● Federated Learning ● Health Care Systems ● Intelligent Manufacturing ● Intelligent Transport Systems ● Knowledge Management ● Knowledge Representation ● Machine Learning ● Machine Vision ● Meta Learning ● Natural Language Processing ● Neuro-symbolic Computing ● Profiling and Social Networking ● Recommendation Systems ● Reinforcement Learning ● Robots ● Security Systems ● Sentiment Analysis ● Social Memory & Cognition ● Society of Apps ● Speech Technologies ● Topic Detection ● Trustworthy computing ● Constraint Satisfaction Problems ======================= Proceedings ======================= The proceedings of ICDCIT 2025 will appear in the LNCS series of Springer. ======================= Special Issue ======================= Extended and revised versions of selected papers from the Distributed Computing track will be taken into consideration for inclusion in a special issue of Theoretical Computer Science (TCS). ======================= Best Paper Award ======================= The conference will assign a Best Paper Award and Best Student Paper Award. ● Best Paper Award, INR 50,000 (for both distributed computing and intelligent technology). ● Best Student Paper Award, INR 25,000 (for both distributed computing and intelligent technology) ======================= Paper Submission ======================= Authors are cordially invited to electronically submit their papers in English, adhering to the LNCS format, with a maximum length of 16 pages. Submissions should encompass unpublished research findings or inventive practical applications, ensuring the novelty of the work and its non-submission elsewhere. All submissions are to be made electronically, and the submitted papers will undergo a thorough peer-review process for potential inclusion in the conference proceedings. The proceedings are anticipated to be published by Springer-Verlag as a volume in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science. Note: During the paper submission (on the easy chair link given below), you will be required to choose one of the two tracks: Distributed Computing (DC) or Intelligent Technology (IT). Please choose the track based on the topics mentioned above. ======================= Anonymous Submissions (Double Blind Review) ======================= Anonymous submissions are required, with authors' identities concealed throughout the paper. Names, addresses and affiliations must be omitted. Any references to related work should be in the third person (e.g., "The authors build on previous work..."). This approach aids PC members and external reviewers in forming an unbiased initial judgment. The intention is not to prevent the discovery of authors but to allow an unbiased assessment. The conference's double-blind review process is designed to mitigate bias. However, measures taken to ensure anonymity should not compromise the quality of submissions or burden reviewers unnecessarily. Specifically, vital references must not be omitted or anonymized. Authors with additional inquiries regarding the double-blind review process are encouraged to contact the Program Committee chairs via email. They retain the freedom to share their work through platforms such as ArXiv and other online repositories and are welcome to deliver presentations on their research as customary. Format for paper preparation: https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines The updated template has already been integrated into Overleaf https://www.overleaf.com/latex/templates/springer-lecture-notes-in-computer-science/kzwwpvhwnvfj At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper in person at the conference.
