Assessing and measuring resilience is the key stone to improving trustworthiness in modern computer systems. Assessing the resiliency is meant to evaluate the impact of ``changes" on the persistence of the dependability of a system. Changes can be due to hardware and software faults, security attacks, software aging and environment, taken either a) in isolation, such as, for update and maintenance actions or for technological changes, or b) in combination, such as the ever-evolving and growing problem of attacks that may result from environmental and technological changes. Finally, the changes can themselves turn into threats, for instance, activating dormant software errors. Nevertheless, resiliency assessment of complex systems is dramatically exacerbated by the complexity of potential changes that may take place at runtime.

In spite of decades of research and continuous progress in practice, resilience assessment is still a challenging problem. Both academia and industry are interested in having accurate methods and relevant data to be analyzed. Efficient and scalable modeling and experimental techniques are needed to allow the designers and the administrators of computer systems and networks to better understand and quantify the resilience delivered by their systems.

The main objective of this workshop is to concentrate ideas and contributions from both academia and industries in the field of resilient complex critical systems, stimulating scientific research and fostering discussions on approaches, methodologies and tools currently adopted for the resilience assessment of complex critical systems.
