We are pleased to announce you that the 6th edition of BASIQ 2020 International Conference on “New Trends in Sustainable Business and Consumption” will be hosted by the University of Messina. For participants it is a great opportunity to meet the creative atmosphere of University of Messina, founded in 1548 with a long-standing tradition.

The conference will take place between 4 - 6 June 2020, at the University of Messina, Italy.

BASIQ International Conference aims at exploring the impact of the most recent transformations in business and consumer behavior on the economy and society. Within the scope of the conference, organizers invite contributions on the following main topics:

socio-demographic trends; imagining and anticipating societal futures;
constructing modern knowledge: competency-based education and new ways of capacity building;
key new technologies in the 21st century (big data, identity management, nanotechnologies, electric vehicles, 3D printing, new products and advanced materials, etc.); adoption, acceptance, and diffusion of emerging technologies;
perspectives in business administration; driving value for business and consumers through business model innovation; new market interactions, open innovation and collaboration networks;
ethical and environmental issues related to business;
new consumer values, attitudes and behaviors; new approaches in creating a culture of quality; emerging risks and changes in consumer rights;
exploiting the tourism potential - challenge for local communities;
new trends in food consumption and agricultural business.

Interdisciplinary and cross section contributions are also welcomed.

23 March 2020 - Full paper submission
13 April 2020 - Notification of paper acceptance to authors
3 May 2020 - Conference fee payment

The conference proceedings volume (with ISSN) will be submitted for indexation to Clarivate Analytics under the aegis of Amfiteatru Economic Journal.

Proceedings from all previous editions (BASIQ 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015) are indexed by The Conference Proceedings Citation Index, a Web of Science™ Core Collection database.
