Communication Issues in Artic Region Instructions for Authors Summary submissions must be limited to four (4) pages, including text, references, and figures. The introduction should indicate how the submission relates to previous work and the unique aspects of the current submission. Footnotes should not be used except for credits to sponsors. An IEEE copyright form must be mailed or faxed or generated online as part of the submission process. Submissions without copyright forms will be rejected. Presentation equipment needed should be specified if different from Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF viewer, and computer projectors. Electronic Submission All papers must be submitted online as PDF documents. Authors having difficulty generating an appropriate PDF representation of their paper should contact the Technical Program Chairs. Format for Submissions The language of the symposium is English. The paper must be limited to four pages including text, references, and figures. Only single column formats will be accepted. The introduction should indicate clearly how the submission relates to previous work and the unique aspects of the current submission. Footnotes should not be used except for credits to sponsoring agencies. The text should be formatted single-spaced and sized for 21.5x28 cm (8.5x11 inch) paper. The title should be centered 1 inch from the top of the first page. The author’s (or authors’) name and complete organizational affiliation should be two lines below the title. If there are multiple authors, the presenter is to be identified with an asterisk. The text should start three lines below the last name. All margins (left, right, top, and bottom) should be 2.5 cm (1 inch) of all pages. Use a single column; double space between paragraphs (no indentation). Electronic submissions must meet IEEE Xplore specifications, including embedding of all fonts in the PDF file. See the conference Web site for templates and more information on creating acceptable electronic files. Templates For more information on the format for submission, download any of the links below. We have included multiple formats for your convenience.
