2020 International Conference on Environmental Policy and Green Development (EPGD 2020) is co-organized by Hunan University, Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE) and International Society for Environmental Information Sciences (ISEIS). The conference will be hosted in Changsha, China from Apr. 25-27, 2020!
●Publication and Indexing
All the registered and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceeding, which will be indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Science (CPCI-S)(Thomson Reuters, Web of Science), Inspec and other databases for review and indexing.
Darren Smith, Loughborough University, UK
Academician of the British Academy of Social Sciences, Vice-Dean of the School of Social Political Geography, University of Loughborough, United Kingdom, Co-Director of the Identity Community Social Research Centre, and Director of Graduate Programs. He also served as chairman of the Royal Geographical Society, member of the Research Committee and chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Population Geography.
Guangwei Huang, Sophia University, Japan
Dr. Huang is a Professor in the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Sophia University, Japan. He also serves as the Director of the Institute for the Study of the Global Environment, Sophia University at present. His career includes Associate Professor in Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, the University of Tokyo; Professor for Joint Educational Program between International Center for Water Hazard and Risk Management under the auspices of UNESCO and National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies. Passionate about water, his study evolved from fluid dynamics to water quality modeling and to integrated watershed science and management.
Caterina Valeo, University of Victoria, Canada
Dr. Caterina Valeo's research program develops environmental informatics* tools for application to urban water resources engineering. Dr. Valeo's research team uses a variety of hardware, software, field and lab work to find sustainable solutions for mitigating the impacts of increasing urbanization and climate change on water resources.
Yongping Li, Beijing Normal University, China
National outstanding youth fund gainer, the ministry of education "cheung kong scholars" distinguished professor, the second batch of national "ten thousand project" science and technology innovation talents, ministry of science and technology innovation talents of middle-aged and young, national pacesetter project list (was awarded the "outstanding contribution to the young and middle-aged experts"), the ministry of education in the new century talents.Served as secretary general of international ISEIS society, chairman of ISEIS branch of decision-making science and operation, invited chief editor, deputy chief editor and editorial committee of more than 10 domestic and foreign magazines.
Adam Fenech, University of Prince Edward Island, Canada
He has edited 8 books on climate change, most recently on Global Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainability in the Middle East. He has represented Canada at international climate negotiating sessions; written climate policy speeches for Canadian Environment Ministers; and authored Canadian reports on climate change to the United Nations. Dr. Fenech has taught at the University of Toronto as well as the Smithsonian Institution for almost 20 years, and lectures regularly at universities across Canada and around the world. Dr. Fenech shared in the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his work with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. He is presently the Director of the University of Prince Edward Island's Climate Research Lab that conducts research on the vulnerability, impacts and adaptation to climate change.
Gordon Huang, International Society for Environmental Information Sciences
He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and the President of the International Society for Environmental Information Sciences. Dr. Gordon Huang is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Energy and Environment, and Executive Director of the Institute for Energy, Environment and Sustainable Communities at the University of Regina, Canada.Since the 1990s, Huang has led over 150 research projects, produced over 800 peer-refereed international journal papers (with an SCI-based H-index of 56 in Science Citation Index under Thomson Reuters' Web of Science).
Jinfeng Zhou, China Foundation of Biodiversity and Green Development, China
He was a member of the Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a member of the Proposal Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC, a member of the Standing Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, a member of the China Democratic National Construction Association, and a researcher at the Center of the Entrepreneurship of Small and Medium Enterprises of Peking University, etc.
