The 17th yearly conference of the Leading Hotel Schools in Europe (Eurhodip) will take place from July 10-14 in Zaragoza, Spain. Management, teaching staff and students of Europe’s leading hotel schools will gather in Zaragoza to discuss the impact of City Marketing on the hospitality profession.

12th July: Plenary Sessions
The plenary sessions on Monday 12th July will be dedicated to the Conference topic of City Marketing.

13th July: Workshop Sessions
On Tuesday 13th July, three workshops will be organised on the following subjects:
1. Destination Management;
2. Training managerial skills: Internships as "Learning on Location";
3. Best Practices in Cooperation on both sides of the Ocean.

We invite hospitality & tourism educators, graduate students and industry professionals to submit their papers and presentations on these subjects.

Submission Guidelines
Presentation proposals will de submitted to the Academic Committee for approval. Evaluation criteria will be:
• Relevance for the Eurhodip audience;
• Demonstrated knowledge of the subject mater;
• Contribution to academic or professional knowledge for the field of study;
• Innovative character;
• Clearness and creativity of the instructional design.
Papers in English, French and Spanish will be accepted. All papers will have to be submitted in electronic format (Word or rtf). Submissions must be original work, with a maximum length of 10 pages double-spaced. Abstracts must not exceed 100 words. Bibliography and footnotes should be included in the body of the text at the end of the paper. Presentations should be accompanied by a powerpoint presentation that creatively summarises the presentation text, rather than simply displaying it on screen. Duration: 20 minutes.

Submission of abstracts: February 28, 2010
Submission of papers and presentations: April 30, 2010

All presenters are required to register for the full conference or for a one-day conference registration for the day of the presentation. All travel and additional expenses, including the conference registration fee, are the responsibility of the presenter(s).
