Call for Paper
ACSS 2018 is aimed to facilitate Ph.D. scholars enrolled with Universities and Research Institutes around the world to present and discuss part of their research work with peers in their fields. Submission: Each contributed paper must have at least one enrolled PhD student as the first author of the submission and his/her supervisor(s) as co-author(s). Any work that is not presented in ACSS-2018l shall not be included in the post-conference book. We welcome all such authors to submit research papers to 5th International Doctoral Symposium on Applied Computation and Security Systems (ACSS-2018). This symposium would be best suited for scholars who already have a plan outlined for their dissertation in one of the following broad areas: Computer Vision & Signal Processing Biometrics-based Authentication Security for Internet of Things Analysis and Verification Techniques Security in mobile and cloud scenarios Large Scale Networking Remote Healthcare Distributed Systems and Security Deep learning Software Engineering Cloud Computing Human Computer Interaction Privacy and Confidentiality Access Control Big Data and Data Mining Android Security VLSI Design and Embedded Systems Biomedical Circuits and Systems Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Natural Computing Pricing and Network economics Mobile and Pervasive Computing Green Networking and Smart Grid Social Media Privacy Traceability, metrology and forensics Malware Analysis Cognitive Science Algorithm The submission draft for full papers should be limited to 10-12 pages. The authors of selected papers shall be required to submit an extended version for publication as a book chapter in the post-symposium book. All papers will be reviewed by the program committee, and a balanced program will be selected based on relevance and technical soundness. Please download the proceedings template for the manuscript and author instructions from http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0. Each paper will receive at least two blind reviews. Please note that author names, affiliations, etc are not to be included in any form within the paper, failing which, the paper will be rejected. A brief review note by the supervisor explaining the scope of the work and its significance is to be mailed to acsscu2018@gmail.com after the manuscript is submitted. The selected and presented works for ACSS2018 are to be published by Springer after the symposium as an edited book in the series "Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing" (http://www.springer.com/series/11156 ). Papers that are accepted for poster presentations will go through a second round of review by an eminent panel of experts during the symposium. Extended version of the selected poster papers, based on the opinion of the expert panel, shall also be included in the post symposium book as complete book-chapter. Any work that is not presented by the PhD student in ACSS - 2018 shall not be included in the post-conference book. It may be worth mentioning here that ACSS book(s) are indexed by Conference Proceedings Citation Index of Thomson Reuters (ISI Proceedings), EI-Compendex, DBLP, SCOPUS and others. Some of the selected papers will be published in “Signal Processing And Security In Distributed Systems “In Springer Transactions on Computational Human Interface For Iota Applications” or In “Inderscience International Journals of Biometrics”. • Submission Due : August 31, 2017 • Author notification : November 15, 2017 • Paper Submission & Author Registration : December 31, 2017 • Symposium :09-11 February 2018 |
