INVITATION:

The First International Workshop on Recent Advances in Biomedical Data Analysis is a global forum for researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry to present and share their research findings, ideas, developments, and applications at a top quality International Joint Conference on Rough Sets (IJCRS2017).

We are pleased to invite you to submit papers (up to 10 pages in LNCS/LNAI of Springer format) from any aspect of Biomedical Data Analysis to RABiD2017. All accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings in LNCS/LNAI series of Springer: www.springer.de. Selected papers will be invited for publication in a reputed journal.

We encourage papers that propose development of novel methods/techniques using rough sets, soft computing tools, pattern recognition, machine learning, and so on for areas including but not limited to:

- RNA-seq and microarray - based gene expression analysis
- Discovery of biological networks and pathways ofbiological processes and diseases
- Structure prediction and folding
- Intelligent signal processing of EEG, ECG, MEG and MRI data
- Process mining and intelligent planning for biological and medical data
- Biomarker discovery in clinical and genomic data
- Discovery of genotype - phenotype associations
- Healthcare
- Data integration for biomedical applications
- Processing of next - generation sequencing data
- Applications in patient monitoring, healthcare and other clinical problems
- Biomedical imaging
- Information visualization and Visual analytics for biomedical data
- Predictive modelling for complex phenotypes from large-scale biological data
- Mathematical modelling of biological pathways
- Information retrieval for healthcare and Biomedical applications
- Modelling, simulation, and optimization of biological systems
- Big data analysis and tools for biological and medical data
- Cheminformatics



Important Dates:
- Paper submission: February 28, 2017
- Acceptance notification: March 30, 2017
- Deadline for submitting camera-ready accepted papers: April 15, 2017
- Conference dates: July 3-7, 2017
