***************
1.Introduction
***************

The Computational Science and Engineering area has earned prominence through advances in electronic and integrated technologies beginning in the 1940s. Current times are very exciting and the years to come will witness a proliferation in the use of various advanced computing systems. It is increasingly becoming an emerging and promising discipline in shaping future research and development activities in academia and industry, ranging from engineering, science, finance, economics, arts and humanitarian fields, especially when the solution of large and complex problems must cope with tight timing schedules.
CSE2017 is the next event, in a series of highly successful International Conferences on Computational Science and Engineering, held mainly as the International Workshop on High Performance Scientific and Engineering Computing for 13 editions, mostly in conjunction with International Conference on Parallel Processing (ICPP), as COATA-98 (Orlando, USA, 1998), HPSEC-99 (Fukushima, Japan, 1999), HPSEC-00 (Toronto, Canada, 2000), HPSEC-01 (Valencia, Spain, 2001), HPSEC-02 (Vancouver, Canada, 2002), HPSEC-03 (Kaohsing, Taiwan, 2003), HPSEC-04 (Montreal, Canada, 2004), HPCSE-04 with WCC-04 (Toulouse, France, 2004), HPSEC-05 (Oslo, Norway, 2005), HPSEC-06 (Columbus, USA, 2006) and CSE-08 (S?o Paulo, Brazil, 2008). The previous CSE-09, CSE-10, CSE-11, CSE-12, CSE-13 and CSE-14 were held in Vancouver, Canada, 2009, Hong Kong, China, 2010, Dalian, China, 2011 , Paphos, Cyprus, 2012 and Sydney, Australia, 2013, and in Chengdu, China, 2014 and in Porto, Portugal, 2015 and in Pairs, France, 2016.

CSE2017 will be held in Guangzhou, China on 22- 23 July, 2017. It is to bring together computer scientists, industrial engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange experimental and theoretical results, novel designs, work-in-progress, experience, case studies, and trend-setting ideas in the areas of advanced computing for problems in science and engineering applications and inter-disciplinary.

3. Submission Information
*************************

Submitted papers must not substantially overlap papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings. Papers should be at most 8 pages including the bibliography and well-marked appendices, and should follow the IEEE 8.5" x 11" Two-Column Format. Committee members are not required to read the appendices, and so the paper should be intelligible without them. Submissions are to be made to the submission web site. Only pdf files will be accepted. Submissions not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits. Papers must be received by the submission deadline.

Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their papers will be presented at the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE conference proceedings (EI indexed).

*************************
4. Journal Special Issues
*************************

The accepted papers from this conference will be submitted for publication by IEEE Computer Society in IEEE proceedings and submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.(indexed by EI Compendex). Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be considered for possible publication in several SCI & EI indexed special issues of prestigious international journals. By submitting a paper to the conference, authors assure that if the paper is accepted, at least one author will attend the conference and present the paper.
