Special Session on Wireless Technologies for Smart Cities (IEEE CAMAD'16)

The Special Session will take place during IEEE CAMAD 2016 in Toronto, Canada. Previously unpublished contributions on Wireless Communications for Smart Cities are solicited including, but not limited to:

Quality of Service mechanisms for wireless networks in smart cities
Smartphone and mobile systems and applications
Integration and co-existence of technologies and networks for smart cities
Interoperability between heterogeneous networks of smart cities
Energy-aware wireless protocols and algorithms for smart cities
Sensing technologies and applications for smart cities
Wireless networks for smart city surveillance and management
Experimental network measurements and characterization for smart cities
Security and privacy concerns in smart cities
Application, deployment, testbed, and experiment experiences in smart cities
Network and system infrastructure that supports smart cities
Communication in personal health-monitoring systems for well-being
Environment and urban monitoring
QoS and QoE of smart city systems, applications, and services
All submissions are required to comply with CAMAD guidelines. Initial submissions for review are limited to seven (7) pages. Camera-ready papers should not exceed six (6) pages including figures without incurring additional page charges (maximum 1 additional page with over length page charge). Each accepted paper must be presented at the conference by one of the co-authors. Only timely submissions through EDAS will be accepted for review. Accepted papers will appear in IEEE Xplore.
