Call for Papers: South Asian Journal of Business and Management Cases
Special Issue Vol.5(1) June 2017
Theme: Leadership Imperatives in Managing Change
Economic environment in the last few decades has changed at a faster rate than ever witnessed before. The drivers of the change are attributed to globalized economy resulting in wider access to suppliers and the markets, birth of a new breed of customers with changing preferences and ambitions, technological revolution as can be witnessed in rapid development of innovations, communication systems, and high societal expectations. Ours is a socially conscious society, in which an enlightened and informed employee seeks his rightful place in the process of growth. Leadership imperatives are no longer limited only to allotment of scarce resources and to monitor performance, but go on further to create a sense of connectivity and engagement of the stakeholders, and work for a sustainable socially responsible organization. There are challenges to be met. Leadership imperatives include the capability to manage change. To meet the imperatives of survival and growth in the new economic order, organizations look for leadership with capabilities to deliver.

What could be those leadership imperatives? The special issue provides a forum for you to share your experiences through live case studies from business and management.

South Asian Journal of Business and Management Cases (BMC) invites business and management cases from live situations only with authentic information and data to cover either of the suggested topics. The list is non-exclusive.
