Call For Papers

The future of the modern global economy depends upon a steady pace towards implementation of a successful information technology paradigm which requires construction of a dependable trust, security and privacy (TSP) environment. This, in conjunction with the ever growing potential of pervasive and ubiquitous computing, sparks persuasion of new dynamic secure techniques. One such move is adoption of intelligent multi-agent systems (MAS) to challenge the ever growing information security issues and promote new potential global applications such as e-commerce and e-health.

The aim of this Special Issue is to report on recent advances in the security aspects of intelligent, cooperative, integrated and multi-agent systems.

Topics of primary interest include, but are not limited to:
• Authentication layers, secure open architectures in ubiquitous distributed environment
• Cryptography and digital certificate in dynamic distributed security and access control infrastructure
• Modelling and prototyping trust, security and privacy
• Multi-agents and cooperative security management
• Security in distributed multi-user systems
• Context-aware security, rules and specifications
• Security interaction, mobile agents and protocols
• Parametric agents, identity- and role-based access control
• Intrusion detection agents and interaction techniques
• Security engineering performance and measurements
• Vulnerabilities, malicious, lightweight and ultra-lightweight threats
• Applications of security in e-health, medical sensors and other distributed systems
