Conference Website: http://aliep2016.nju.edu.cn/ November 3-4, 2016 Nanjing China Organized by Nanjing University, China Hosted jointly by School of Information Management, Nanjing University, China College of Information Science & Technology, Nanjing Agricultural University, China School of Economics & Management, Nanjing University of Science & Technology, China Call for Paper The 7th A-LIEP will be held in Nanjing, China on 3-4 November 2016. Previous conferences have been organized by the University of the Philippines, Philippine (2015), Khon Khaen University, Thailand (2013), MARA University of Technology, Malaysia (2011), University of Tsukuba, Japan (2009), Shih-Hsin University, Taiwan (2007), and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2006). This conference will be organized by Nanjing University, China. The School of Management at Nanjing University will host the conference, in collaboration with the College of Information Science & Technology at Nanjing Agricultural University and the School of Economics & Management at Nanjing University of Science & Technology. The location of this conference, Nanjing, is a famous historical and cultural city, which has a history of 2,500 years and is regarded as one of the “top four ancient cultural capitals of China”. Workshops offer researchers and practitioners great opportunities for learning on specific topics and interests related to the education and practice of library & information science. Submissions in the area of the conference's main topics will receive preferential treatment. Workshop proposals are limited to 3 pages in length. The proposal should include the following information: • Title of proposed workshop • Names of organizers and their affiliations • A description of the qualifications of the organizers to host the workshop • A description of workshop including theme, goals, objectives, novelty, planned activities (an abstract or summary is recommended) • Brief description on primary audience being targeted and expected number of participants • A preliminary schedule for the workshop • Any special workshop requirements • A one-page workshop call-for-papers (such as the one the organizers would send out to invite attendees).
