Journal of East European and Asian Studies Place of publication: Bucharest, Romania Type of publication: print and online Publication date: July 2009 Published/Edited by: Center for East European and Asian Studies Topics: The editors of the Journal of East European and Asian Studies (JEEAS) are encouraging contributions for the next issue of JEEAS. Contributions are welcome on, but not restricted to, the topic of systemic transition. Submitted articles may tackle issues concerning the decline of the bipolar system, the decline of American hegemony, unipolarism, the emergence of new global competitors (China, Russia, India, Brazil), the normalization of Japan’s power, the European Union as a systemic great power or regional actor, the problems posed by systemic transition in terms of security and international stability, the outlook of the new world order (its dynamics and governing principles), new processes of regionalism and regionalization and their impact the new world order, etc. Contributors may also submit miscellaneous article and/or book reviews. JEEAS does not accept materials that have been published elsewhere. Deadline: May 11, 2009. Language: English and Russian (make sure and include an abstract in English). Contact: Contributors are invited to submit a 500-word abstract outlining the argument and structure of the paper, along with the author’s CV. The final version of accepted articles must be submitted by June 25, 2009. The submitted works should be 5-8,000 words in length (bibliography included).
