Symposium on RFID TECHNOLOGIES & THE INTERNET OF THINGS
September 24-26, 2009 Split-Hvar-Korcula (CROATIA) Symposium Chair: Luigi Patrono University of Salento, Italy, (luigi.patrono@unile.it) The Symposium on RFID Technologies & The Internet of Things ( http://marjan.fesb.hr/SoftCOM/2009/files/cfp/CfP_SYM_RFID_Patrono_2009.pdf ) will be held in the frame of the 17th International Conference on Software, Telecommunications and Computer Networks (SoftCOM 2009), co-sponsored by the IEEE Communication Society (COMSOC). The main goal of this symposium is to present and discuss recent advances in the area? of the Internet of Things, where innovative wireless technologies like RFID, short-range wireless communications, real-time localization and sensor networks are becoming research topics more and more interesting? for both academia and industry.
