C A L L F O R P A P E R S Seventh International Workshop on Information Integration on the Web (IIWeb09) July 11, 2009, Pasadena, CA, USA colocated with IJCAI 2009 http://research.ihost.com/iiweb09/index.html Focus: Data Issues in Services and Service Integration ============================================================================================ Submission deadline: March 6, 2009 ============================================================================================ This workshop, seventh in the IIWeb series, is focused on making the research in information integration on the web more relevant to the challenges in services. We will give special emphasis to how this can be applied to services and service integration. After information is extracted and integrated, how should it be organized? How can we build or exploit models. taxonomies or ontologies; trust models for information on the web, service specification in multi-model environment, searching for services, impact of data changes on composition and runtime adaptation, scale-up of methods to web levels. We invite researchers working in all areas related to source/service integration to participate. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Novel Web source/service integration architectures * Service Specification, Composition and Description * Source/service discovery and deep-web crawling * Automatic wrapper induction * Schema matching * Web entity extraction * Record linkage and object consolidation * Named entity extraction * Source/service meta-data learning * DB & IR integration * Data mining for integration * Applications IMPORTANT DATES Manuscripts Due: March 6, 2009 Notification of acceptance: April 17, 2009 Camera Ready Due: May 8, 2009 Workshop date: July 11, 2009 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES We welcome original, unpublished manuscripts (4 - 6 pages) inclusive of all references and figures. Vision papers and descriptions of work-in-progress are welcomed as short paper submissions (1-3 pages). Papers must be written in English, and formatted according to IJCAI-09 paper formatting guidelines (http://ijcai-09.org/fcfp.html). Please submit papers in PDF and send them to the co-chairs via email. ORGANIZING COMMITTEE Co-Chairs: Biplav Srivastava, IBM Watson Research Lab, USA.
